About Steve Maconi

Before assuming his current responsibilities as Chairman and one of the Founding Partners of Brandywine Oak Private Wealth, Steve Maconi began his career in financial services as an advisor with Merrill Lynch. Based in Wilmington, Delaware, he focused on helping employees and retirees of DuPont plan for and manage their retirement. Steve Maconi’s responsibilities in this role involved traveling around the country to deliver educational seminars on topics such as the DuPont SIP 401k plan and retirement planning.

Steve obtained the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation while working at Merrill Lynch and garnered recognition from the firm as a Chairman’s Club honoree. His nearly 36-year tenure with Merrill Lynch lead to him being named one of the Wilmington office’s Managing Directors, a title he held until founding Brandywine Oak Private Wealth in 2018.

Within Steve's role at this Kennett Square, Pennsylvania firm, he focuses on new business development. He also leverages his CRPC® designation to serve as a Private Wealth Manager, assisting high-net-worth families in planning for retirement. In doing so, he draws on insights gleaned over the course of his career to select investment strategies that meet the unique needs of each client he works with.
